The 85th TIF, the greatest exhibition event in Greece, will be physically held at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre, while observing all necessary hygiene protocols.
The TIF will be the first major Exhibition to be organised in Europe in 2021 and it will set the organisational bar for all corresponding events. This year’s event is dedicated to Greece, its central thematic axis being the Past, Present, and Future triptych, in the framework of the 200th anniversary since the Greek Revolution.
This year’s event aims to contribute to the redefining of the needs of Greek society, to boost its historic memory, and to bring citizens closer to new digital services and technologies, innovations, and Greek production.
Health safety measures, an assurance for exhibitors and visitors
The unexpected appearance of COVID - 19 overturned the flow of normalcy on a social and economic level, creating a new reality in everyone’s daily life.
The 85th TIF is the first Covid-Free Fair in Europe, sending a clear message of optimism. After a year of absence, marked by an unprecedented health crisis, the TIF returns, strong, complete safe from a health perspective, and ready to give Greece the trade fair energy that has been missing all this time.
Greek entrepreneurship representation will arrive from every part of Greece, with the dynamic presence of the Union of Hellenic Chambers (KEEE) and the independent participation of Thessaloniki Chambers. This year’s TIF, after the forced postponement of last year’s event, places special importance on the aspect of entrepreneurship, and especially SMEs, which are the backbone of the Greek economy.
At the same time, 13 Regions of Greece will be present at the Fair, which will highlight their historic continuity and their prospects for growth.

THESSALONIKI HELEXPO FORUM 2021
Alongside the exhibition event, the Thessaloniki Helexpo Forum 2021 will also be held. This is the established platform of dialogue for all of Greece’s major developmental and economic issues.
The Forum will host, for the 2nd consecutive year, the political and entrepreneurial leadership of Greece, raising all the critical issues that have been highlighted during the pandemic at the ‘I. Vellidis’ Congress Centre.
In addition to the inaugural speech of the Prime Minister on Saturday 11/9, the standard press conference the next day and the corresponding speech and press conference of the President of the Official Opposition on the weekend 18-19/9, there will be daily thematic panels in which they will participate government officials, party representatives, entrepreneurial agencies, associations, businesses, and the local government, while discussions will cover the consequences of the unprecedented health crisis and the challenges they may create for a modern Greece.
