The 87th TIF is present for all current developments with a multifaceted programme of activities and events, and its final two days

It’s the public’s final chance to visit the 87th TIF, which, today and tomorrow, will welcome all its friends with a wealth of thematic tributes, events, and activities and events, for all ages and all preferences.

The Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre will remain open all weekend from 10:00-22:00.

Music Events Live is the meeting point for all visitors to the 87 TIF, where, tonight at 21:30, Michalis Chatzigiannis will present an impressive musical performance based on his talent and broad repertoire.

Last night Kostas Makedonas took to the Music Events Live stage with Christiana Galiatsou and Eleni Tsaligopoulou, and together they spirited the audience off on a singular musical journey.

Music Events Live are ending their cycle for the year with Petros Iakovidis and Ivi Adamou, who are expected to draw a younger audience of Fair visitors.

Children’s fashion will have its day tomorrow at 12:00 in pavilion 16, where the Thessaloniki Chamber of Small & Medium-Sized Industries (VETH) is organising, for the first time, a special thematic unit on clothing, footwear, and accessories, Thessfashion, with the participation of important names in the world of fashion. This special participation by VETH has been placed under the auspices of the Region of Central Macedonia and is being organised with the support of Elevate Fashion.

At the same time, the 2nd Collectibles’ EXPO 2023 is being held until tomorrow, for traders and collectors to exhibit, exchange, and

promote collections and artefacts. The main exhibits concern coins, bank notes, stamps, medals, military medals, post cards, photographs, old books, toys, books, watches, documents, archive material, vinyl records, telephone cards, and any other type of collectibles and works of art.

Furthermore, today and tomorrow, from 12:00 to 19:00, in a specially created space between pavilions 10 and 13, visitors of the 87th TIF will have the chance to learn about the sustainability, safety, and quality of rice cultivation and rice products, and try 12 unique recipes based on European rice, produced in Greece and Spain.

In the Honoured Country pavilion, which this year is hosting Bulgaria, visitors can attend a performance by the Frosch String Quartet from 17:00 to 20:30.

The TIF 5x5 Football Tournament being held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs with “No to violence” as its main message, is being organised in partnership with AC Panorama. The match between Honoured Country Bulgaria and TIF-HELEXPO will be held tomorrow.

At Kyttaro 2, in the ground floor space below ‘Emilios Riadis' Hall, visitors can learn about the life of the great Maria Callas — who died on this day in 1977 — at the Tribute: ‘Maria Callas, a life like a fairy tale’, by Mykonos artist Marina Petri, held under the auspices of the National Council of Greek Women and the support of TIF-HELEXPO.

Furthermore, today at 19:00, it’s time for the green light for the 55th TIF RALLY at Aristotelous Square, while tomorrow at 18:00 the cars will cross the finish line where they started, and trophies will be awarded.
